A gift of a box camera as a school boy sparked his passion for photography.
About Alan
As a school boy in the mid-thirties, Alan was given a box camera. Living near to Croydon airdrome, photography became his passion and after World War II Alan discovered the same passion for motorsport.
He went on to shoot some evocative and iconic images many of which featured in his book 'Fifties Motor Racing - the GP Scene'.
