Hand Built P-47D Thunderbolt Model
A wonderful hand built 1/32 scale model from Hasegawa and featuring the Thunderbolt P-47D in the markings of the 512th Fighter Squadron of the 406th Fighter Group, 9th Air Force.
Overall, the model measures approximately 15” x 12”.
P-47D-27-RE Sno 42-26922L3*U was known as ‘Little Anne’. This aircraft dates from 1945 and was based in Asch, Belgium. The model has been superbly constructed and is finished in natural metal with a olive drab anti-glare panel running from the nose along the spine through to the tail fin. White invasion stripes are painted on the lower aft fuselage, whilst a picture of ‘Little Anne’ is featured on the nose cowl.
