Multi-Signed Targa Florio Armband
A truly special leather armband, as given to famous motor sport photographer Edward Eves, for the 1958 Targa Florio. It has been signed by the 1958 Targa Florio winners Luigi Musso and Olivier Gendebien, together with four other winners, Umberto Maglioli, Nino Vaccarella, Joachim Bonnier and Colin Davis. Unrepeatable.
This mounted, inscribed and framed presentation measures 17” x 11”.
The 1958 Targa Florio was won by Scuderia Ferrari teammates, Luigi Musso and Olivier Gendebien in their Ferrari 250 TR 58. Musso, having started last of the front runners, was in the lead by the end of the first lap. Despite a healthy lead and before handing over to Gendebien at the half way mark, Musso suffered a brake fluid leak, but managed to coax the TR back to the pits. Gendebien finished over five and a half minutes in front of Behra and Scarlatti in their Porsche 718 RSK.
