Fernando Alonso F1 Race Used & Signed Helmet
This Fernando Alonso helmet, made by Schuberth was race used during the 2015 Formula One season. This year, Alonso drove the McLaren MP4-30 for the McLaren Honda team. This was a pretty disastrous season for the team from Woking, with Alonso and his fellow World Champion Jenson Button finishing seventeenth and sixteenth respectively. Fernando scored points in only two races, with a best of fifth at the Hungaroring. This helmet was worn at Monaco.
This helmet was painted by the legendary Jens Munser and was signed on the Iridium visor by Alonso.
Fernando is widely regarded as one of the greatest contemporary Grand Prix drivers and has, to date, won thirty two races, set twenty two pole positions and won two Formula One World Championships in 2005 and 2006.
