Nick Heidfeld Sauber F1 Race Used & Signed Helmet

This Nick Heidfeld helmet, made by Schuberth was race used during the 2002 Formula One season and in particular at the German Grand Prix held at the Hockenheim. Nick was entered by Sauber Petronas in the Sauber C21 and qualified on the fifth row in tenth. He claimed the last point available for a sixth place finish, culminating in a tenth place overall position in the championship.

This helmet has been painted by Jens Munser and has been signed twice, on the visor and on the crown of the helmet.

“Quick Nick” competed in one hundred and eighty three Formula One races between 2000 and 2011, finishing on the podium on thirteen occasions, setting fastest lap twice and claiming one pole position. Following his F1 career, he went on to race at the Nurburgring for the 24 Hours, the FIA World Endurance Championship and Formula E.
