Carlos Sainz F1 Race Used Helmet
This Carlos Sainz helmet, made by Schuberth was race used in the 2018 Formula One season and in particular at the Bahrain, Chinese and Spanish Grand Prix. In these three races he finished eleventh, ninth and seventh respectively. Overall, Carlos rounded out the top ten in the championship with a best finish of seventh, which he equalled at the US Grand Prix.
This helmet, which features exposed carbon, has been painted by Dave Designs and has been signed on the visor by Carlos.
Carlos is a hugely popular Grand Prix driver, winning four Grand Prix for Scuderia Ferrari, before being unceremoniously rejected by the Scuderia in favour of seven time World Champion Lewis Hamilton. To date he has twenty seven podiums from two hundred and six starts, having claimed four fastest laps. His Father is Carlos Snr who is a two time World Rally champion and four time Dakar Rally champion.
