Darren Turner Le Mans Race Used & Signed Helmet
This Darren Turner helmet, made by Arai was race used at Le Mans in 2009. He drove for Aston Martin Racing in the Lola-Aston Martin B09/60 with an ear piercing V12. He shared the car at Le Mans with Antony Davidson and Jos Verstappen finishing eleventh in class and thirteenth overall. This same year Turner piloted the B09/60 to second place at the Nurburgring in the Le Mans Series and fourth overall in the championship.
This helmet was painted by JLF Designs and was signed on the rear of the helmet, in person at Spa Francorchamps.
Darren was awarded the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year in 1996 and became a test driver for the McLaren Formula One team. He has raced in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters and the British Touring Car Championship, but is most known for his exploits with Aston Martin in GT.
