Jenson Button Super GT Race Used Helmet
This Jenson Button helmet, made by Arai was race used at the 46th International Suzuka 1000 km in 2017. It was the last race run as part of the Super GT Series, being the last running under the 1000 kilometre format. Button shared a Honda NSX-GT with Japanese drivers Hideki Mutoh and Daisuke Nakajima. They finished two laps down in twelfth. Jenson went on to win the Super GT championship the following year, winning a solitary race in 2018 at Sugo, with Team Kunimitsu teammate Naoki Yamamoto.
This helmet has been painted by Uffe Designs and has been signed and annotated by Jenson ‘All the best #16 Super GT Suzuka 1000km Final!’
Jenson has had an illustrious career and became Formula One World Champion in 2009 driving for the Brawn GP Formula One Team. He won fifteen Grand Prix and now races in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
