Peter Dumbreck Nurburgring Race Used & Signed Helmet
This Peter Dumbreck helmet, made by Arai was race used at the Nurburgring in 2013 and in particular at the 24 Hours and the Langstrecken Meisterschaft Nurburgring (VLN). He drove for Falken Motorsports in the Porsche 911 GT3 R during these races, the first of which was the second round of the VLN with teammate Wolf Henzler. The qualified in fourth, but failed to finish. Next was the N24, where Peter was again paired with Wolf and additionally Martin Ragginger and Sebastian Asch. They qualified twenty second and finished twentieth. He had two further outings in the VLN with a best placed finish of fifth.
This helmet has been signed on the crown of the helmet.
Peter has raced in numerous series around the World including the Japanese Formula 3 Championship, where he won the overall title, the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters where hs finished third overall in 2001 and also the FIA World Endurance Championship with a best placed finish of fifth. Perhaps he is best known for his exploits at Le Mans most and notably somersaulting in to the Mulsanne woods in 1999.
